FUI
With over ten years of experience as a Motion Graphics Designer in Vancouver, BC, I have developed and refined my skills in this field. My most recent role was as a Senior Motion Graphics Designer at Scarab Digital, where I was responsible for creating motion graphic sequences for well-known TV shows like Superman & Lois, The Flash, Batwoman, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, Class of '09, Fire Country, Alaska Daily, Apple TV Godzilla Series, and others. In these projects, my main tasks involved designing interactive elements for actors to interact with on set, including FUI systems, control panels, surveillance stations, desktop/mobile apps, keypads, door access panels, vehicles, drones, medical displays, topology maps, signatures, and infographics. Although I have predominantly focused on Sci-Fi projects recently, I also possess expertise in contemporary and retro styles.
Fictional User Interface (FUI) plays a crucial role in the realm of contemporary movies and TV shows.
An expertly crafted fictional UI has the ability to enhance the authenticity of a production and effectively communicate the director's artistic vision.
